The Horn Publisher produced its first list of books 2008/2009.

Its catalogue has been created to share the rich cultural and literary background of Somalia with schools, libraries, and numerous other institutions who work closely with children of primary age and young adults.

There are many multicultural books in schools but these books are unique in the sense that they will meet a range of requirements and fill gaps that need to be filled. These books are designed to support the curriculum topics using language familiar to all. Its high quality illustrations enhance understanding, prediction and encourage speaking and reading.
